Brief Profile of HFFG

We have received a three-year funding from the Global Fund through WAPCAS as a sub-recipient to implement HIV and TB interventions for key and vulnerable populations.
Background
The WAPCAS/Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GC7) project (2024-2026) is an intervention, continuing the legacy of past Global Fund-funded Project. The primary focus of the GC7 grant is to strengthen access to health related and human rights services.
Goal and Objectives
The goal of the HIV component of the GC7 grant is to achieve epidemic control and the fast-track targets of 95-95-95 by 2025. Its objectives are to:
- Empower the beneficiaries to prevent new HIV infections
- Ensure the availability of and accessibility to prevention, treatment, care and support services
- Mitigate the social, mental and economic effect of HIV on persons infected and/or affected by HIV
Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will ensure successful implementation and overseeing project performance, participating in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting. Will be responsible for coordinating implementing sites of the Organisation and has responsibilities as follows:
- Takes charge of overall coordination of the project
- Plans activities with the project team by generating work plans and budgets
- Liaise with stakeholders at all levels for effective coordination
- Monitor, track, and give feedback to Project Officers on performance
- Plans project activities and facilitates meetings for the project
- Assign duties to and monitor implementation of team members
- Identify the training needs of immediate team members
- Assess the performance of immediate team members
- Mentor and strengthen the capacity of team members
Qualification
- Minimum of a Second degree in Public Health, Project Management Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, or a related field in Social Science with three years’ experience.
- Strong data management skills with evidence of prior work in data management with electronic data capture and analysis.
- Working knowledge of HIV
- Good writing and analytical skill
