Brief Profile of HFFG

We have received a three-year funding from the Global Fund through WAPCAS as a sub-recipient to implement HIV and TB interventions for key and vulnerable populations.
Background
The WAPCAS/Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GC7) project (2024-2026) is an intervention, continuing the legacy of past Global Fund-funded Project. The primary focus of the GC7 grant is to strengthen access to health related and human rights services.
Goal and Objectives
The goal of the HIV component of the GC7 grant is to achieve epidemic control and the fast-track targets of 95-95-95 by 2025. Its objectives are to:
• Empower the beneficiaries to prevent new HIV infections
• Ensure the availability of and accessibility to prevention, treatment, care and support services • Mitigate the social, mental and economic effect of HIV on persons infected and/or affected by HIV
Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The M&E Manager will be responsible for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning system of the project He/she will be responsible for the effective management for efficient and effective overall performance of the project. The key responsibilities shall be as follows:
❖ Develops and leads the implementation of the overall ME&L System towards effective performance management, monitoring and a sustainable impact evaluation of the project.
❖ Identify, document and share best practices, lessons learnt, success stories and trends in project implementation
❖ Maintains the project indicator tracking system of the organization and updates management on quarterly progress against targets
❖ Leads the implementation and evaluation of programmes, projects and activities. ❖ Ensures program quality through the implementation of activity-specific review systems, comprehensive ME&L systems and supportive supervision
❖ Continue to track project deliverables and submit project-specific performances. ❖ To work with all project teams to consolidate the achievements of the project. ❖ Reviews project reports from Program Coordinators to ensure project performances and achievements
are evidence-based and gaps are identified promptly and strategies are put in place to correct those implementation gaps.
❖ Ensures set targets for the projects are achieved.
❖ Will undertake a base-line survey and an end-line survey for the project.
Qualification
Minimum of a second degree in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Project Management, Statistics, or a related field in Social Science with three years’ experience.
Strong data management skills with evidence of prior work in data management with electronic data capture and analysis.
Working knowledge of HIV
Good writing and analytical skill
